Spain and Barcelona are ready for their first big event of 2018 electro season. King of Beat, during the past years, starting with the edition of 2015, shown a lot of foreign dancers coming to win this contest and it will be the same this year.
THE DANCERS

One of the firsts to confirmed his presence has been MatTe from Romania, exciting participation also by the Mexicans Roman and Rozen respectively from Guadalajara and Durango. Also, some French dancers are supposed to compete (Soniah already confirmed it), while as already confirmed by Streetiz, the 2016 World Champion Nico is going to participate in the 1 vs. 1 tournament. Other Italians, IronBilly and Venzi are already registered while also some members of Rootless Crew could be part of the event.
On the home side, the Spanish roster will feature their best talents: Denox, Namiac, Ayman are just some of the names from the Barcelona group, while also Beat Mode Crew from Valencia will compete with their e-boys like Furio, Tazz and Spike.

THE CONTEST
The event will have two categories: 1 vs. 1 Electro and 1 vs. 1 Allstyle. There will be preselection for both tournaments, and then the finals stages will start with the TOP32 dancers of each one. First two eliminatory stages will be just about one round for each dancer, while two rounds for Quarterfinals and Semifinals and probably two or more for the Final.
The provisional schedule
12.15 – 13.45 – Preselections (45” / round)
14.00 – 15.30 – 1/16 Finals (45” / round)
16.00 – 17.00 – 1/8 Finals (1′ / round)
17.15 – 18.15 – Quarter-Finals (2 rounds, 1′ / round)
18.45 – 19.00 – Semi-Finals (2 rounds, 1′ / round)
19.30 – 20.00 – Finals
The event will take place at Mercat Vell in Mollet del Vallès, a city 30Km east Barcelona.
Workshops on Sunday, while parties and jam will be organised from Friday to Sunday night.
THE JURY



The jury features high-level electro dancers, as two World Champions from France: Miel (Alliance Crew) and Milliard (Rythmik). The Spanish Elecktrik Will join them in the Electro judge table. In the Allstyle contest, Miel will keep his jury seat with the hip-hop/house dancer Rick Indigo and the krumper Joker.
